In a randomized trial with 133 women, this study compared hysteroscopic morcellation (HM) and ultrasound-guided vacuum aspiration for retained products of conception (RPOC). While both procedures showed similar intrauterine adhesion rates and complications, HM demonstrated higher efficacy with a significantly greater rate of complete RPOC removal (95.2% vs. 82.5%). The HM group also required fewer additional hysteroscopic treatments, suggesting potential advantages for RPOC management.
