Immediate revascularization reduces the risk of target vessel revascularization (RR: 0.64, p = 0.03) and myocardial infarction (RR: 0.57, p = 0.01) at 1-year follow-up compared to staged revascularization in multivessel disease. Analysis of 10 RCTs (3886 patients) found no significant difference in 1-year mortality. These findings support immediate revascularization as a viable strategy for better long-term outcomes in ACS patients undergoing PCI.
