ACL reconstruction with a BPTB autograft shows lower tendon strain in the short term compared to long-term post-surgery. The medial and lateral regions show varying strain levels, impacted by time since surgery and effort level. The study included 29 participants (14 short-term, 15 long-term). Clinicians should consider the time since surgery and joint angles to optimize rehabilitation and target specific regions for better tendon healing and strength.
