The study used finite element analysis (FEA) to assess how core materials, tooth structure, and bonding influence stress distribution in endodontically treated teeth. Results showed that debonded models exhibited higher tensile stresses, and models without ferrules experienced more rotation around the abutment. Ferrules effectively reduced stress concentration in dentin, even in the case of adhesive failure, highlighting their importance in restorative treatments for endodontically treated teeth.
