Impact of Repeated Procedures on Fetomaternal Outcomes in patients treated with progestins for endometrial hyperplasia

A population-based study analyzed women with a history of endometrial hyperplasia or early-stage carcinoma treated with progestins. Those undergoing more than two dilatation and curettage or hysteroscopic biopsy procedures had higher risks of cervical insufficiency and adverse neonatal outcomes, emphasizing the need for careful consideration and balance of risks and benefits in such cases.
