A seven-month-old boy at SN Children's Hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, was diagnosed with foetus in foetus (FIF), a rare congenital anomaly. The child had developed a foetus of the same age inside his stomach, with a head, hair, arms, and legs. Doctors performed a complex surgery to remove the foetus successfully. Dr. D Kumar, who conducted the operation, stated that this is an extremely rare case, with only around 200 cases reported worldwide and 10 in India. The child, who was brought to the hospital in critical condition, is now healthy and under medical supervision.
