Increased prevalences of head and neck cancers in patients with Sjögren's syndrome

This population-based study analyzed data from the Longitudinal Health Insurance Database, comparing 38,930 patients with Sjögren's syndrome and found a statistically significant difference in the prevalence of head and neck cancers between the two groups, with patients with Sjögren's syndrome having increased odds of developing these cancers, including those in the oral cavity, oropharynx, nasopharynx, and thyroid.
