In terms of major adverse cardiovascular events, all-cause death, myocardial infarction, and repeat PCI, there were no significant differences between PCI and medical therapy groups at the two-year mark. The study concluded that the clinical presentation and procedural variables guide the initial therapeutic approach in SCAD, with PCI showing similar short-to-mid-term risk compared to medical treatment.
