Jada System Shows Safe Postpartum Hemorrhage Control in Preterm Births

A subgroup analysis of the RUBY registry examined the Jada System's safety and effectiveness for managing postpartum hemorrhage in preterm births less than 34 weeks. For births under 28 weeks, the treatment success rate was 85.7%, and 88.9% for births 28 to less than 34 weeks. No maternal deaths or serious adverse events were reported. Two nonserious adverse device effects occurred, and two individuals required hysterectomies. The findings align with prior results for births at or beyond 34 weeks, though caution with uterine size is advised for preterm births.
