
This ascertainment bias has primarily influenced the understanding of the phenotypic spectrum of KS. With the increasing uptake of antenatal non‐invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), a corresponding increase in the identification of KS has been documented. However, population-based longitudinal data on these individuals is lacking from infancy to adulthood, which impedes balanced antenatal genetic counselling and raises issues for prospective parents and clinicians alike.
