Lintuzumab-Ac225 Shows Promise for Relapsed/Refractory AML Treatment

The phase 1 study assessed the safety and efficacy of lintuzumab-Ac225, an anti-CD33 antibody linked to Actinium-225, in relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia (R/R AML) patients after CLAG-M salvage therapy. The maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) were 0.75 µCi/kg. The composite complete remission (CRc) rate was 56.6%, with measurable residual disease (MRD)-negativity in 8 of 12 responders. The 1-year progression-free survival (PFS) was 30.8%, and the 2-year overall survival (OS) was 23.1%.
