Location and Distance of Kissing Contusions and Knee Laxity in Acute Noncontact ACL Injury

This study explored the significance of bone bruises (BB) and kissing contusions in acute noncontact ACL injuries and found that the presence of BB and wildly kissing contusions are associated with increased knee laxity and a higher incidence of complete ACL injury and concomitant injuries. The location and distance of kissing contusions also correlates with the severity of knee laxity.
