Eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis (eCRS) patients have hope in the long-term efficacy of dupilumab, as a study of 20 eCRS patients who experienced recurrence post-surgery shows promising results. Short-term use significantly improved nasal health, but long-term use yielded even better outcomes, especially in olfactory function. This dissociation in effects suggests that dupilumab may be more effective when administered for over a year. These findings offer new possibilities for managing this challenging condition.
