The study evaluated the three-year success of the Dynamic Intraoperative Standing Sling Technique (DISST) for placing a single-incision midurethral sling (SIMS) in an office setting under local anaesthesia. After a mean follow-up of 34.3 months, the composite success rate was 95%, with sustained efficacy and no decrease in cure observed. Secondary objectives, including adverse events and impact on sexual function, showed favourable outcomes. The study suggests that SIMS placement using DISST under local anaesthesia in an office setting is effective, maintaining positive results and improving quality of life over three years.
