In France, home use of Airway Clearance Techniques (ACT) and Lung Volume Recruitment (LVR) devices in children has not been previously assessed. A study involving 139 patients aged ≤20 years found that Intermittent Positive Pressure Breathing (IPPB) was the most commonly prescribed device, mainly for neuromuscular disorders and neurodisability. Pediatric pulmonologists primarily initiated these treatments, with parents as the main caregivers.
