Lupin Gets FDA Tentative Nod for Trijardy Equivalent Tablets
Lupin Limited received tentative approval from the USFDA for its generic equivalent of Trijardy XR Extended-Release tablets. The approved tablets, containing Empagliflozin, Linagliptin, and Metformin Hydrochloride, will be manufactured at Lupin's Pithampur facility in India. Dosage strengths approved include 5 mg/2.5 mg/1,000 mg, 10 mg/5 mg/1,000 mg, 12.5 mg/2.5 mg/1,000 mg, and 25 mg/5 mg/1,000 mg.
