A retrospective study was conducted to improve the treatment of large paravaginal hematomas postpartum using the Zhukovsky vaginal catheter. The study included two groups of patients: one group underwent traditional obstetric surgery, while the other group received an integrated approach involving surgery and the use of the Zhukovsky vaginal catheter. The effectiveness of treatment was evaluated based on blood loss volume and hospital admission time. Results showed that the integrated approach significantly reduced blood loss volume and shortened the hospital stay compared to traditional surgery. This approach also lowered the risk of postoperative complications. Overall, the study concluded that the integrated approach improved the treatment outcomes for large paravaginal hematomas.
