
Cardiovascular diseases are a major component of non‐communicable diseases and death, with thrombosis constituting the most common underlying pathosis of the three major cardiovascular disorders: ischaemic heart disease (acute coronary syndrome), stroke, and venous thromboembolism (VTE).
