Mandible Extracellular Vesicles Modulate Tooth Development via miR-206

The study explores how mandible-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) influence tooth development by regulating the histone demethylase KDM2B. The research shows that miR-206 delivered via EVs targets KDM2B, modulating tooth mesenchymal cell proliferation and differentiation. Animal studies revealed that this miR-206/KDM2B pathway affects tooth morphogenesis and mineralization.
