This study conducted a network meta-analysis to examine the effects of medications used for preventing hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) in high-risk pregnant women. The results showed that antioxidants were effective in reducing placental abruption. Antiplatelet agents were likely to reduce small for gestational age (SGA) in newborns, although there was low certainty evidence. However, there was a slight increase in neonatal intraventricular hemorrhage with the use of antiplatelet agents.
