Melasyl serum significantly reduces PIHP without sunscreen. A study on 32 Mauritian subjects (phototype IV–VI) showed a 15.8% PAHPI reduction in 84 days. Mean darkness decreased by 25.1%, with a 60% spot intensity reduction. Visible improvements began by day 14, with enhanced brightness and reduced stigmatization. The serum was well tolerated and improved self-perceived appearance and well-being. Results suggest even greater benefits when combined with sunscreen.

A retrospective study of 33 women with postpartum hemorrhage during cesarean delivery found that uterine compression sutures achieved hemostasis in 69.7% of cases. PULMONOLOGY
