The study explores the relationship between metabolic heterogeneity and immune regulation in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) by analyzing tumor tissue metabolic profiles and tumor-infiltrating T lymphocytes (TILs). Findings reveal that high metabolic heterogeneity correlates with lower TIL levels and worse survival. Distinct metabolic pathways in different tumor subpopulations suggest potential responses to chemotherapy. These insights may inform personalized therapeutic strategies targeting metabolic and immune features in LUSC.
