
A study on infrequent breakfast-consuming adolescent girls found that mid-morning breakfast (10:30 AM) lowered post-lunch blood sugar spikes by 36% compared to skipping breakfast. Early-morning breakfast (8:30 AM) also showed benefits but was less effective. These findings highlight the role of breakfast timing in regulating glycaemic responses throughout the day.
