A refined PETS approach improves limb deformity correction in children. This report details a modified percutaneous epiphysiodesis using transphyseal screws (PETS) technique, incorporating a retrograde guidewire and antegrade screw placement for optimal precision. Performed under fluoroscopy without a tourniquet, the method enables immediate weight bearing, reduces blood loss, and shortens operative times. These refinements aim to enhance surgical efficiency and promote wider adoption in pediatric orthopedics.
