N2BA TTN and MARP1 in Dilated Cardiomyopathy Development

N2BA TTN and MARP1 in Dilated Cardiomyopathy Development

The study explores the role of N2BA TTN in dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) using a mouse model (TtnΔ112-158). Findings reveal that altered expression of the N2BA isoform, along with reduced MARP1 protein levels, contributes to DCM development. The study shows that N2BA is essential for cardiac health and that disruption in the N2BA-MARP1 signaling pathway promotes DCM. The results provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms behind DCM.
