A recent study examined the impact of serum luteinizing hormone (LH) ratios, specifically hLH/bLH, in in-vitro fertilization and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF/ICSI) outcomes among polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) patients utilizing GnRH-antagonist (GnRH-ant) protocols for controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH). Results revealed differences between groups (Groups A and B) based on LH levels and other factors. While multivariate analysis showed no direct connection between hLH/bLH and clinical outcomes, non-linear associations were observed for several key indicators. The study suggests that maintaining an hLH/bLH ratio of 1 may enhance live birth rates and reduce OHSS incidence.
