No Added Survival Benefit of ASCT in RRMM

The GMMG ReLApsE trial compared sHDCT/ASCT with continuous LEN/DEX in relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) after frontline ASCT. At 99 months median follow-up, no significant differences in progression-free survival (20.5 vs. 19.3 months) or overall survival (67.1 vs. 62.7 months) were observed. Landmark analyses confirmed similar outcomes, and time to progression after frontline ASCT, though prognostic, did not predict benefit from sHDCT/ASCT. The findings do not support sHDCT/ASCT use in RRMM.
