The study included 532 infants and compared outcomes between those receiving parenteral nutrition versus dextrose solution and milk supplement versus exclusive mother's breast milk. Results showed similar body-fat percentages at 4 months and no variation in time to full enteral feeding between intervention groups. Secondary outcomes also exhibited no significant differences. These findings suggest that routine nutrition interventions did not affect the transition to exclusive mother's breast milk in moderate-to-late-preterm infants.
