A recent US study explored the impact of cigarette and e-cigarette use on ocular health in young individuals aged 13 to 24. The study found that users of both e-cigarettes and cigarettes were more likely to experience severe and frequent ocular symptoms, such as itching, redness, dryness, glare, blurriness, strain, and headaches. Past 7-day dual users reported the highest incidence of symptoms. This research highlights the need for users of these tobacco products to reduce their consumption to potentially mitigate these ocular issues.
