The meta-analysis reviewed six randomized studies with 1,356 eyes to determine the optimal timing for intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement following femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery (FLACS). It found that the best time to measure IOP is within the first 24 hours post-surgery. Day one showed no significant increase in IOP compared to later timepoints, although small sample sizes limited findings. Further clinical trials are needed to refine timing for optimal patient outcomes.
