A novel surgical approach to treat challenging keloids has emerged with promising results. The study introduced partial excision using a 2-mm punch biopsy device to address refractory multifocal keloids on the trunk. Involving 30 patients, the approach combines partial excision, triamcinolone injections, and immediate electron beam radiotherapy, showing significant improvements in pain, itchiness, color, stiffness, thickness, and irregularity. This safe and efficient method offers hope for those with previously intractable keloids.
