
A cross-sectional survey with 286 pre-anesthetic oral examination (PAOE) participants and 130 controls revealed lower satisfaction and perceived quality in the PAOE group, particularly in reliability, responsiveness, and empathy. However, overall satisfaction with dental services remained high. The study suggested that while interdisciplinary programs may impact perceived service quality, patient-centered education and improved waiting times are crucial for enhancing patient satisfaction and safety.
