Patient With Parkinson Disease and Care Partner Perceptions of Key Domains Affecting Health-Related Quality of Life

This mixed-method systematic review explores Parkinson's disease (PD) symptom priorities impacting health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in people with PD (PwP) and care partners (CP) across different disease severity stages. The review reveals shared prioritization of motor functionality, mood, cognition, gait, balance, posture, falls, and nighttime sleep disorders across all PD stages. However, nonmotor symptom priorities shift with disease severity, emphasizing the importance of tailoring care to individual needs and incorporating the "individual's voice" into treatment decisions.
