This observational study investigates orthostatic intolerance (OI) incidence and cardiovascular responses during early mobilization after unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA). Among 32 patients, 14% experienced OI at 6 hours post-surgery, associated with reduced blood pressure responses. Most patients (75%) were discharged within 24 hours, with only 2 experiencing OI. No significant differences were found in perioperative factors between intolerant and tolerant patients. Compared to total knee arthroplasty, UKA shows lower OI incidence (~15%), suggesting a procedure-specific aspect. These findings emphasize the importance of understanding OI in postoperative mobilization to optimize patient care.
