The Heart Failure Association has released guidelines on diagnosing heart failure using Natriuretic peptides (NPs), particularly NT‐proBNP. These biomarkers help identify heart failure, even in asymptomatic patients with risk factors. The guidelines introduce the "FIND-HF" acronym for healthcare professionals and patients to prompt consideration of heart failure, emphasizing Fatigue, Increased water accumulation, Natriuretic peptide testing, and Dyspnoea. Validated cut-points aid acute heart failure diagnosis in the emergency department and de novo heart failure diagnosis in outpatient settings.
