Predicting 1-Year Outcomes in nAMD with O&P Regimen Based on Initial Response

This prospective cohort study investigates whether initial treatment responses in patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) predict 1-year treatment outcomes when treated with the observe-and-plan (O&P) regimen. The study found that both functional and morphological treatment responses after the first three loading doses were strong predictors of 1-year outcomes. Patients with a good initial response were more likely to maintain positive outcomes, while those with poor initial responses had a higher risk of remaining in the same category of treatment response after one year.
