
The systematic review analyzed 64 studies covering 103 developed and 12 validated models for gestational diabetes outcomes. While 45% addressed long-term outcomes, 87% of models had a high risk of bias. Only 8 models were considered low-risk. The study emphasizes the need for rigorous validation and testing to improve GDM risk prediction and care planning.
