
The study evaluates prognostic factors for pulp status in patients with cracked teeth (CT) treated with occlusal veneer. Analysis of 80 CT cases reveals most involve maxillary first molars, with varying numbers of crack lines (CLs). During follow-up, 5 cases progressed to pulp disease, resulting in a 93.8% success rate. Cox model and Kaplan-Meier analysis identify factors like probing depth and number of CLs as associated risks for pulp status. Conclusively, occlusal veneer proves effective in protecting CT without preventive root canal therapy, with identified risk factors aiding in clinical decision-making.
