Prognostic value of neutrophil‐to‐lymphocyte ratio in patients with metastatic castration‐resistant prostate cancer receiving prostate‐specific membrane antigen targeted radionuclide therapy

A study suggests that the neutrophil count: lymphocyte count ratio (NLR) may serve as a prognostic factor for men with advanced prostate cancer undergoing prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT). Although NLR did not significantly correlate with prostate-specific antigen (PSA) response, it was linked to overall survival (OS). Men with a high NLR had a greater risk of death from all causes. These findings suggest that NLR can provide valuable prognostic information for mCRPC patients receiving PSMA-TRT.
