Racial differences in patient‐reported outcomes among men treated with radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer

This retrospective study analyzed patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) from non-Hispanic Black (NHB) and non-Hispanic White (NHW) men who underwent radical prostatectomy. NHB men had worse quality of life (QoL) scores than NHW men at baseline, 3, 6, and 12 months post-surgery, but no significant difference was observed at 24 months, highlighting racial disparities and the need for strategies to address them.
