Real‐world study of ethnic differences in glycaemic control and clinical characteristics among insulin‐naïve people with type 2 diabetes initiating biphasic insulin aspart 30/70: A retrospective, observational cohort study in England

A recent study conducted in England aimed to investigate ethnic disparities in glycaemic levels and clinical characteristics among insulin-naïve individuals with T2D who initiated biphasic insulin aspart 30/70 (BIAsp 30) in primary care settings. Modest increases in BMI were observed across all subgroups. The study highlights the effectiveness of BIAsp 30 in reducing HbA1c levels and suggests that ethnic differences in treatment response are minimal in this population.
