Reduced-Volume Radiotherapy Noninferior for LANPC Treatment

Reduced-volume radiotherapy was noninferior to conventional radiotherapy in locoregional relapse-free survival for locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (LANPC) (91.5% vs. 91.2%, difference 0.3%). The Post-IC group had a smaller tumor volume (66.6 cm³ vs. 80.9 cm³) and experienced fewer grade 3-4 toxicities like mucositis (19.8% vs. 34.1%) and otitis media (9.5% vs. 20.9%). Additionally, the Post-IC group reported better quality of life outcomes.
