A study of 48 adolescent teeth with apical periodontitis found that both revascularization techniques—blood clot (BC) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF)—achieved high healing rates after 24 months (95% and 100%, respectively). No significant differences were found in periapical index scores or pulp sensibility test responses between groups. Time significantly improved healing, while the type of REPs technique did not influence outcomes.
