This retrospective study compared the surgical outcomes of robot-assisted periprostatic artificial urinary sphincter implantation (RApAUSi) and open periprostatic artificial urinary sphincter implantation (OpAUSi) in 65 men with neurogenic stress urinary incontinence. RApAUSi demonstrated superior results in terms of operative time, blood loss, hospital stay, and complications. Both approaches achieved comparable rates of complete urinary continence. RApAUSi emerged as an efficient alternative to OpAUSi with favorable surgical outcomes and a tendency towards longer surgical revision-free survival.
