This prospective randomized study compared robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP) and three-dimensional laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (3D-LRP) in 145 men at 12 months post-surgery. Primary outcome, urinary continence (EPIC-26), showed no significant difference. Secondary outcomes, including PSM, BCR, and complications, also revealed no statistically significant distinctions. The trial, halted after interim analysis, concludes that both techniques exhibit comparable functional and oncological outcomes 12 months post-surgery.
