This study aimed to determine whether HER2 status affects survival outcomes in SDC. Of 183 unique citations, 14 studies of 663 patients were included. Most included studies determined HER2 status according to ASCO/CAP guidelines. The univariable meta‐analysis did not reveal an effect between HER2 status and OS. However, in patients with salivary duct carcinoma, HER2 positivity was not associated with worse overall survival. This information may be useful when counselling patients and considering treatment options.

A nationwide Colombian study identified 4,608 healthcare encounters related to childhood interstitial and diffuse lung disease (chILD) from 2016–2024. Reported cases increased annually (IRR 1.022), while declining markedly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
