This study compares the saccule-to-utricle ratio inversion (SURI) in early- and late-stage Meniere's disease (MD) patients using MRI. Among 56 early-stage MD patients, 46.43% exhibited SURI, while only 5.71% of 70 late-stage MD patients did. Early-stage patients with ≤6 months disease duration showed a higher SURI proportion (70%) compared to those with >6 months duration (33.33%). Findings suggest SURI as an effective marker for early-stage MD diagnosis.
