The study evaluated 16 adult patients with chronic haematogenous osteomyelitis (CHOM) of the femur or tibia treated via selective segmental osteotomy and induced membrane technique. After an average 30.5-month follow-up, all patients achieved bone union in 6.9 months with no infection recurrence. Significant improvements were seen in pain, anxiety, and function scores, confirming the approach's clinical effectiveness.
