A retrospective study on 51 children with type 1 diabetes transitioning to hybrid closed-loop or predictive low-glucose suspend systems revealed significant glycemic improvements over 13.2 months. HbA1c decreased (6.9% to 6.7%, p = 0.023), time in range increased (69.3% to 76%, p < 0.001), and glycemic variability was reduced. These advanced devices improve metabolic control and quality of life, highlighting their potential in pediatric diabetes management.
