In a retrospective study of limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc), a high serum Type I Interferon (IFN) score was found to predict shorter time to clinical worsening (TTCW) and a higher likelihood of meeting clinical endpoints. The combination of IFN score with clinical features such as Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension and Interstitial Lung Disease enhanced risk stratification. These findings suggest IFN score as a valuable biomarker for patient management and clinical trials.
